The Applications Engineer II will act as a crucial technical liaison, connecting customers and sales teams with internal engineering and product development departments. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills to ensure that complex aerospace products are successfully implemented and supported. This person will be also Perform technical review of Request for Quote (RFQ), Customer Order (CO) in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and support Conflict Minerals Compliance i.e. RoHs, REACH, PFAS, RM, etc.**To be considered for Applications Engineer II opening, heres what youll need to bring with you:*** Perform technical reviews of RFQs and/or COs* Initiate and participate in drawing change process (ECR, ECN), as required* Support engineers by providing technical support and knowledge of products from RFQs and/or COs analysis* Create Manufacturing Bill Of Materials (MBOM), and Material Data List (MDL)* Works under general supervision with a certain degree of creativity and latitude, as required.* Support Change Control Board (CCB) activities* Evaluate incoming technical data (documentation, and test reports), verify accuracy, and sort codes according to file system* Understanding technical data baselines to determine effects in configuration management* Dispose of obsolete files in accordance with established retirement schedule or legal requirements* Store technical data in paper form (where applicable) or enter information into computerized storage system(s). Scanning and importing into electronic vault.* Identify drawings, license code, original manufacturer code, top assembly* Retrieve drawings and/or materials for qualified personnel upon request* Locate missing documents as requested* Maintain drawings and associated documents/files. Maintain Technical baseline in our PLM database (Windchill).
