Title: System Administrator Location: Fort Meade, MD Duration: Long Term Contract Position Overview Seeking a highly experienced System Administrator (SA) who will support mission?critical systems for a Federal customer at Fort Meade, Maryland. The SA is responsible for managing and maintaining complex mission systems in support of federal operations. This role involves configuring, troubleshooting, and securing systems across multiple environments, ensuring high availability and compliance with federal cybersecurity standards. Key Responsibilities System Management Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux) and applications. Manage system backups, patching, and updates. Monitor system performance and availability. Security & Compliance Implement and enforce security policies and procedures. Support RMF documentation and compliance efforts. Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic analysis. Technical Support Provide Tier 3 support for escalated technical issues. Collaborate with network engineers, ISSOs, and developers. Maintain system documentation and SOPs. Automation & Optimization Develop scripts and tools to automate routine tasks. Optimize system configurations for performance and reliability.
