Responsibilities Do you have experience working in Manufacturing, Packing Products off Conveyor lines, Mechanical Aptitude, Working with Plastic molding??? If so, WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU Warehouse Packer Compensation: Starting rate $15.92 an hour Warehouse Packer available Day shifts: 8AM- 8PM & Nights 8PM - 8AM As a Warehouse Packer, you will: Packer provides support for the operation team by working safely, in a fast paced production warehouse environment, while inspecting product for defects and packing finished goods in correct configuration. Package product into boxes and prepare for shipment Check for quality issues to product and contact team lead with issues Ensure you have enough supplies at your station (boxes, tape ect.) Keep station clean at all times Follow safety guidelines at all times Education and/or Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential. Ability to follow standard work instructions is required. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Able to effectively communicate. Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment. Physical Demand/Effort: Manufacturing work environment. Constant physical activities are required for this position. Such activities could include: ability to reach over head, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift boxes from 0-50 lbs depending on the line assigned; ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a 12 hour shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours; intense walking is involved; able to tolerate working environment with inside excessive hot and cold temperatures. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and gloves Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles Qualifications With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
