PWE Systems Administrator

Systems Administrator Collins Aerospace, Digital Technology, is hiring a Systems Administrator for our Secure Labs support team. A minimum Collateral Secret is required. Qualified candidates should have a passion for technology and be excited about finding new ways to add value to our business. This is an onsite position in Cedar Rapids, IA. What you will do: Work with Virtualization, Servers, Clients, Networking, Storage, and Backup. Regularly work with other members of the organization as part of a cross-functional team. Build strong relationships with customers and peers. Participate in improvement of internal processes (LEAN/ACE/CORE). Use your technical knowledge and experience to facilitate resolution of service request and restoration tickets. Assist with the implementation of technical solutions to support the projects you are assigned. Provide support for the Tier1 and Tier2 infrastructure teams. What you will learn: Foster relationships with your DT peers across the domestic US. Learn how to communicate effectively to Engineering leadership. Qualifications you must have: Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Active DOD Clearance. Experience supporting technology in a professional environment, secure environment experience preferred: Desktop Support, Server Administration, and Virtualization Technologies (VM Ware, etc.). Linux Systems Administration. Networking (important). Compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53). Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec+). Active cert preferred. Qualifications we prefer: Technology certifications (Systems Administration, Cloud, etc.). Security certifications (Sec+, CISSP, etc.). Govt. Security Clearance (Collateral / Secret).
