As a Dishwasher at The Ben, you are an essential member of the culinary team supporting both Proper Grit and Spruzzo Rooftop Restaurant & Bar. You ensure every plate, glass, and utensil is meticulously cleaned and sanitized, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and organization across both outlets. Your work allows chefs, servers, and bartenders to deliver seamless, elevated dining and lounge experiences. By maintaining efficiency and attention to detail, you help uphold the luxury, sophistication, and operational excellence that define The Ben's dining experiences, from classic whisky and supper club fare at Proper Grit to Mediterranean-inspired small plates and cocktails at Spruzzo. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, glassware, and cookware efficiently and thoroughly across both Proper Grit and Spruzzo. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and kitchen areas in both outlets. Assist with kitchen prep or minor cleaning tasks as needed to support smooth operations. Ensure proper chemical usage and safety protocols are followed at all times. Remove trash and recyclables from kitchen and service areas. Operate dishwashing machinery safely and report maintenance issues as needed. Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to maintain a steady flow during peak periods. Uphold The Ben's high standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation in all outlets. Qualifications Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation. Positive attitude and willingness to support the culinary and service team.
