Position Overview:

Palm House is seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth workflow for our culinary staff. This position is vital for upholding our high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
     
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area.
     
  • Assist in the storage of clean dishes and kitchen supplies.
     
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean working environment.
     
  • Support kitchen staff by maintaining a steady supply of clean dishes during service.
     
  • Help with basic food prep and other kitchen tasks as needed.
     
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
     
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
     
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, but not required.
     
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
     
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
     
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
     
  • Capability to stand for long periods, often in a fast-paced environment.
