Job Role: Business Intelligence Analyst (XWF) Location: Bay Area, CA (3 days a week onsite) Contract: W2/1099 Need a level 4 analyst to support with the business reporting and analytical insights across RO costs related initiatives. Primary Focus on reducing turnaround for various deep dives and investigations plus optimizing existing reporting. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled BI analyst, the ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial processes, and expertise in SQL along with various tools such as Looker, AI, Plx (Google internal - big plus) etc Responsibilities · Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support the Cost Allocation process. · Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources using SQL. · Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization. · Design and implement data visualizations using tools like Looker to present complex financial data in an understandable format. · Utilize Plx for advanced data analysis and deep dives related to cost allocation. · Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting and analysis. · Continuously seek to improve data reporting and analysis processes. Minimum Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. · Proven experience as a BI Analyst or Data engineering/infrastructure role, preferably within a finance department · Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. · Extensive experience with BI visualization tools, particularly Looker. · Familiarity with Plx or similar advanced analytical platforms. (Big plus) · Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. · Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy. Preferred Qualifications · Master's degree of a quantitative nature (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent practical experience. · Experience with other BI tools and data warehousing concepts. · Prior experience in a fast paced global organisation.
