We are looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as staff for our Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year in Knowlton Township Elementary School, Delaware, NJ. LOCATION: Knowlton Township Elementary School in Delaware, NJ PAY: $15.49 - $21.00 per hour (based on role, qualifications, and experience) JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt HOURS: 7:00 - 8:40 am and 3:00 - 6:00pm The Before and After-School Program team is responsible for: Leading interactive activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities, along with supporting homework completion. Creating a safe, healthy, and enjoyable environment while serving as a positive role model for children in the program. Staying in contact with parents and family members through the Playground App for daily updates and communication. Adhering to state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program guidelines, and the host school’s rules. Some positions may also involve managing attendance records, registration, and staffing. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree in Child Development or Child Development Certificate OR Six college credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and Nine credits in Education, Psychology, Health Care, Nursing, or a related field of child growth or development. Be prepared for a background check, including fingerprinting, references, and more. You’re cleared by your doctor to perform all job duties and are free of communicable diseases, including TB. You’re warm, friendly, and positive, with exceptional people skills whether interacting with kids, parents, or team members. You are dependable, punctual, and professional.
