Before and After School Assistant Site Director

We’re currently seeking a motivated Assistant Site Director to help support and lead our Before and After School Program at Knowlton Township Elementary School in Delaware, NJ. In the Site Director’s absence, the Assistant Director will take over the responsibilities of overseeing and managing the program, including any tasks typically handled by the Site Director. SCHEDULE: Monday Friday, 6:45 AM 8:45 AM and 3:00 PM 6:00 PM JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Non-Exempt PAY RATE: $17.00 $18.00 per hour plus our new employer paid childcare benefit THE ROLE INCLUDES: Super Supporter: Help the Site Director maintain full compliance with all state of New Jersey regulations. Rules and Regulations Pro: Ensure staff and program activities align with OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and the expectations of our host school. Activity Champion: Lead fun, hands-on programming inspired by the Healthy Kids Curriculum ranging from fitness and STEAM to academics, art, and more. Don’t forget: homework time counts, and you’re the go-to helper Operations Organizer: Oversee essential management duties like maintaining up-to-date attendance and registration records, and making sure staffing levels meet the needs of the program. Communication Connector: Keep parents and guardians in the know by using the Playground App for updates and communication. Team Player: Collaborate regularly with your supervisor to ensure they’re informed of daily events, issues, and updates. Working as a unified team, we strive to deliver top-tier care, foster a supportive workplace, and stay ahead of any challenges. REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Associate's Degree in Education, Psychology, Healthcare, Nursing, or a similar child development-related field plus two years of experience working with children. OR A Head Teacher endorsement from the New Jersey Registry for Childhood Professionals (Professional Impact New Jersey). QUALIFICATIONS: Medically cleared and free of communicable diseases, including TB you’re good to go from a health standpoint. Friendly, energetic, and professional you connect well with children, parents, and colleagues alike. You’re also dependable and punctual. Physically able to bend, lift (up to 50 lbs.), carry, and stay active to keep up with busy kids.
