In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world's leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.What You'll DoYou'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.Develop and design control systems for our clients in the food and beverage, consumer health, life science, or advanced technology sectorsProvide engineering solutions for control systems and PLC/SCADA interface systems that meet and exceed our clients' requirements for safety and optimizationLead design and estimation for the preliminary and detailed phases of projectsConduct system and facility engineering job walk assessmentsDevelop and design engineering solutions for equipment optimizationDesign systems that will monitor pressure, temperature, humidity, and flow in a manufacturing environmentConduct root cause failure analysesDocument process requirements for instrumentation equipmentInterface effectively with engineering design team members and client representativesMake an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and teamWhat You'll BringA minimum of three years of experience leading I&C design and estimation for the programming phase of projectsExperience with Rockwell Automation hardware and softwareExperience with mechanical, electrical and process (MEP) systems and working with MEP engineers and techniciansExperience with multi-disciplinary large capital projects involving owners, general contractors, contractors, and system integratorsA sound understanding of design/build (engineering and construction)A solid understanding of complex process systems architecture & design, instrumentation, device selection, networking, PLC & I/O architectures, P&IDs, data sheets, and SCADAA working knowledge of environments common in large industrial applications such as dry/wet mechanical, awn, gas/chem distribution, HVAC, and clean room environmental controlProficiency in written and verbal technical communication, including generating reports and conducting group presentations.A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventionsA bachelor of science in electrical, chemical, or mechanical engineering, OR a degree emphasizing process control and instrumentation, OR equivalent work experience in process control and instrumentation in life science or advanced technology manufacturingA professional engineer (PE) license or an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (preferred)Our culture and commitment to our people is what sets us apart.
