Why You'll Love This JobPOSITION OVERVIEW: The Operations Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining visibility and control of production flow throughout all kitting stages - from raw material staging through final kit completion. This role ensures system accuracy, physical process compliance, and timely communication across departments to prevent disruptions, reduce inventory aging, and maintain continuous operational flow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at coordinating cross-functional activity in a fast-paced production environment.ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILIITIES:Oversee overall flow of kit staging from raw materials through kitting functionsEnsures system and physical compliance with staging lane integrityCoordinates between quality, kitting, and staging teams to rapidly identify misses and resolveEscalates potential disruptions to leadership if unable to rapidly resolveTracks aging inventory in location to ensure volume is processed through and coordinates with production control if inventory is aging greater than 48 hoursSkills & QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:High School Education requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.2-4 years of experience in production, operations control, or materials coordination - preferably in a kitting or assembly environment.Experience with ERP/WMS systems and inventory tracking tools required.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication skills; comfortable interacting across departments and with customer-facing teams.Hands-on mindset, with ability to work directly on the production floor.SKILLS:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process flow and accuracy.Excellent communication and coordination abilities across multiple departments.High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and production reporting systems.WORKING CONDITIONS:Primarily floor-based in a production/warehouse environment.May require occasional travel to other sites or customer locations.Must be able to lift/move materials during sample or validation builds.
