Your strategic vision will guide procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution to achieve operational excellence, cost reduction, and enhanced customer satisfaction.#### Key Responsibilities:1. **Supply Chain Strategy**:- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, integrating industry best practices and emerging technologies.- Set goals, KPIs, and metrics to measure success.2. **Procurement and Supplier Management**:- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating favorable terms per UCC, Article of Clauses.- Optimize sourcing strategies, manage supplier performance, and mitigate risks.- Streamline procurement processes and perform Cost and Price Analyses per FAR Part 15 and FAR Part 52.3. **Logistics and Transportation Management**:- Oversee transportation operations to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.- Implement strategies to optimize transportation costs and efficiency.- Coordinate warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment processes.4. **Inventory Management**:- Develop inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and improve order fulfillment.- Implement demand forecasting and inventory planning techniques.- Utilize data analysis to identify trends and optimize inventory cycles.5. **Team Leadership and Development**:- Lead a diverse supply chain team, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative environment.- Mentor and develop team members, offering coaching and growth opportunities.- Promote cross-functional collaboration with operations, sales, and finance departments.6. **Performance Analysis and Continuous Improvement**:- Track and analyze key supply chain metrics, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.- Conduct regular performance reviews and propose strategic changes to senior management.#### Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing and services environment for a defense contractor.- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and industry trends.- Demonstrated success in leading and managing cross-functional teams.- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (Costpoint preferred).- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.- Ability to travel to the North Carolina facility 1-2 weeks per quarter.- US Citizenship and Secret Clearance required.- Knowledge of different contract types and FAR/DFAR.#### Location:- Columbia, MD- This is an in-office position with telework available on an ad-hoc basis.Join our team and lead the charge in transforming our supply chain operations.
