Project Manager (Bridges)Discipline BridgeFLApply NowLocation(s): Tampa, FL, and Wellington FLPosition Overview:GM2 Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager (Bridges) to lead and develop technical discipline teams for our Bridge projects. This full-time role offers an opportunity to apply advanced technical expertise, project management skills, and client relationship-building to manage and execute exciting and complex infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in transportation engineering with a specialized focus on highway bridges, as well as a proven track record of successful project delivery and client development.Key Responsibilities:Leading and developing technical discipline teams and performing as a project manager or task leader on Bridge projectsClient development, coordinating the project pursuits and proposal preparationPerforming as a senior technical lead in the development of concepts, reports, and studiesBuilding and maintaining strong client relationships that allow us to have a positive impact on the communities we serve and grow our people through work on exciting and challenging projectsDevelop value-added solutions to clients' needs and lead the successful pursuit of contracts for engineering and consulting servicesIncrease the company's profile within the transportation industry through participation with appropriate business and professional organizationsPlanning, organizing, and supervising the relevant work of other transportation professionalsEffectively negotiate, plan, monitor and deliver quality projects and consulting servicesReviewing engineered designs and plans for conformance with applicable state, regional & local agency standardsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:Experience: At least 10 years of focused experience in transportation engineering, with a specialized emphasis on highway bridges.Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of FDOT regulations and local standards, including the FDOT Standard Specifications, Structures Manual, Bridge Load Rating Manual, and Design Standards.Project Management: Proven experience in managing all aspects of infrastructure projects, including planning, coordination, execution, and delivery.Design & Compliance: A solid understanding of codes,legal, and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and effectively.Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor teams of engineers and professionals across multiple assignments and projects.Client Focus: Strong client relationship and management skills, with a history of building long-term partnerships.Education: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or higher.Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Florida.Software Skills: Experience with software tools such as CSi Bridge, StaadPro, Leap Bridge, CONSPAN, RC-Pier, FB-MultiPier, MDX, and DESCUS.Why Join Us?As a Project Manager at GM2 Associates, Inc, you will be a key player in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure and expanding our service offering in Florida.
