Take your career to the next level and join our team in Southern California nowThe candidate should be located in Los Angeles,Ventura County or San Bernardino County areaRESPONSIBILITIES :Do you have experience with mechanical power generation equipment, and are a high energy, self-starter, serious minded, capable of working independently and in teams? We are currently looking to add Field Service Technicians to our team. This position is responsible for providing scheduled maintenance and performing minor and major Jenbacher engine overhauls in the field.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines.Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check equipment)Experienced using tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools)Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical diagramsExperienced in troubleshooting and repairs of an engine.The ability to work well as part of a team.Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.Ability to travel incl. overnight travel.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookMust have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to succeed.Must be able to communicate via telephone & email.YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:Attended a technical schoolRelated military experienceMaritime engineering background and/or experienceExperience with reciprocating gas/diesel enginesWE OFFER:Competitive salaryComprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance401(k)Annual Tool and Shoe Allowance; UniformsOn-going paid trainingA fun work environment where our teammates feel appreciated.An Equal Opportunity Employer.
