If you’re a skilled welder who takes pride in craftsmanship and quality, we want you on our team.Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM (four 10-hour shifts)Position Summary:As a Welder, you will operate welding equipment and perform position welding with a high degree of proficiency to meet production requirements. This role demands strict adherence to quality standards and safety procedures. You will work closely with production leads to meet daily welding schedules and maintain our reputation for excellence.Key Responsibilities:Review daily welding production schedules with Production Lead to understand output goalsRead and interpret blueprints to identify weld locations, components, and layoutsWeld component parts according to prints and product specificationsPerform grinding, deburring, and polishing to produce finished, high-quality weldsInspect welds regularly to ensure consistency with company quality standardsRepair welds to meet German DIN and AWS D.1.1 standards, including field weldingReport any safety, equipment, tooling, or quality issues immediately to supervisionOperate barcode scanner and computer systems for tracking labor and work instructionsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Technical degree in Welding requiredMust pass Schwing America welding tests and maintain certification through periodic Quality Control testingAWS D.1.1 certification requiredExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprintsComfortable using computers to access work instructions and track laborMust pass annual Jager Eye examinationPhysical Requirements:Work performed 100% inside the plant facilityAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. as neededWhy Work at Schwing America?Work with state-of-the-art welding equipment in a clean, modern facilityJoin a company committed to quality, safety, and employee developmentCompetitive wages and comprehensive benefits packageOpportunities for career advancement and skills growthApply today to join Schwing America and weld your future with a trusted industry leader.
