Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM (four 10-hour shifts)

Position Summary:

As a Welder, you will operate welding equipment and perform position welding with a high degree of proficiency to meet production requirements. This role demands strict adherence to quality standards and safety procedures. You will work closely with production leads to meet daily welding schedules and maintain our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review daily welding production schedules with Production Lead to understand output goals
  • Read and interpret blueprints to identify weld locations, components, and layouts
  • Weld component parts according to prints and product specifications
  • Perform grinding, deburring, and polishing to produce finished, high-quality welds
  • Inspect welds regularly to ensure consistency with company quality standards
  • Repair welds to meet German DIN and AWS D.1.1 standards, including field welding
  • Report any safety, equipment, tooling, or quality issues immediately to supervision
  • Operate barcode scanner and computer systems for tracking labor and work instructions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in Welding required
  • Must pass Schwing America welding tests and maintain certification through periodic Quality Control testing
  • AWS D.1.1 certification required
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Comfortable using computers to access work instructions and track labor
  • Must pass annual Jager Eye examination

Physical Requirements:

  • Work performed 100% inside the plant facility
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
