The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:- Operate Class A vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and address any customer inquiries or concerns.RequirementsRequirementsSkills and Qualifications:- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.- Excellent time management and organizational skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.We offer competitive pay and benefits.
