Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers. This role involves delivering freight efficiently across designated routes while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Candidates with experience in commercial driving, route driving, load and unload operations. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate trucks with autom transmission.
  • No touch freight.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company procedures during transportation activities.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered during routes.
  • Assist in securing freight properly to prevent damage during transit.

Experience

  • Proven experience in truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers.
  • Delivery driver experience preferred with a strong understanding of route planning and load management.
  • Familiarity with automatic transmission operation is required.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial trucking and freight handling.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated.
