The Senior Manager, Project Planning ensures the creation of Bloomingdale's marketing assets and any supporting marketing content that represent our brand image and enforces that merchandise/offers are communicated in an effective way for their team's projects. The ideal candidate maintains a fluid process with cross-functional stakeholders, manage individual projects as well as oversee multiple areas of business.Essential Functions:Drives strategy to execute marketing assets and content in assigned areas of business. Fields and evaluates all project requests for their areasWorks closely with creative, marketing, merchandising, and production groups in the planning, execution, and on-time delivery of marketing assetsSets up and leads kick-off, follow-up, turn-ins and all necessary meetings for specific projects as well as oversees execution for teamOversees a team of Project Planners, with direct responsibility for growth and developmentQualifications and Competencies:Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university5+ years direct experiencePractices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise mannerExcellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levelsAbility to think creatively, strategically and technicallyAbility to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needsDetail orientedPhysical Requirements:Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standingOccasionally requires walking, bending, reaching, hearing and talkingContinuous use of computers and other office equipmentFrequently lift/move up to 10 lbs.This job description is not all inclusive; additionally, Macy's, Inc. reserves the right to amend this job description at any time.
