The physician will also contribute to scholarly activities and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows within an academic medical center environment.The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a full-time Motility-Trained Gastroenterologist to join our nationally recognized team at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, located in the heart of Philadelphia.Position HighlightsProvide expert care for patients with complex esophageal, gastric, and intestinal motility disordersCollaborate within a multidisciplinary team of gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, and speech pathologistsParticipate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and innovation in motility diagnostics and therapeuticsTeach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, including those in Jefferson's GI fellowship programContribute to Jefferson's academic mission through scholarly activity and publicationsPosition HighlightsProvide expert care for patients with complex esophageal, gastric, and intestinal motility disordersCollaborate within a multidisciplinary team of gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, and speech pathologistsParticipate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and innovation in motility diagnostics and therapeuticsTeach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, including those in Jefferson's GI fellowship programContribute to Jefferson's academic mission through scholarly activity and publicationsQualificationsBoard-certified (or board-eligible) in GastroenterologyCompletion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in GastroenterologyAdvanced motility training and experience in managing complex motility disordersEligible for or currently holding a Pennsylvania medical licenseKeywords:Gastroenterology, Motility disorders, Physician, Clinical research, Medical education, Patient care, Esophageal disorders, Gastrointestinal, Academic medicine, Fellowship mentoring
