We are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher II to work on our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces using hand and power tools and assisting with the supervision of Concrete Finisher I personnel. As a key member of our team, the Concrete Finisher II will work closely with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed to the highest level of quality.Responsibilities:Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power toolsPour and spread concrete to the required thickness and consistencySmooth and level concrete surfaces using trowels and other toolsCreate concrete forms and frameworks as neededFollow safety protocols and wear protective gear as requiredCommunicate regularly with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budgetDevelop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlinesIdentify and resolve issues that arise during construction projectsAssist with training and supervision of Concrete Finisher III personnelOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in concrete finishing preferred3+ years of experience in concrete finishing, with experience in a construction setting preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsStrong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiencesStrong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvementExperience with government contracts and compliance is a plusA commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplaceEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
