We want you to applyJob Summary and QualificationsUnder the general supervision of the Director of Laboratory Services, the Medical Laboratory Technician provides clinical laboratory services to patients in accordance with accepted practices and Departmental and Hospital standards of care.Assists in data collection for statistical, surveys or other reports generated by the Department.Participates in performance improvement, activities within the Department.Facilitates communication between the Laboratory and members of the Medical Staff and other Hospital Departments to enhance patient care services.Notifies supervisor of any unusual requests to ensure maximum utilization of resources and maintenance of quality care.Performs computer functions as necessary according to job duties.Performs other related duties as assigned.What qualifications you will need:* Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date* Associate DegreeHCA Houston Healthcare West is a full-service, 300+ bed hospital that has been offering exceptional care to the West Houston communities for over 30 years.
