Position OverviewThe Production Supervisor plays a critical leadership role, overseeing several production areas to ensure alignment with plant-wide objectives in safety, quality, efficiency, and team development. Acting as a bridge between frontline supervisors and senior plant leadership, this role drives operational excellence, continuous improvement, and cross-functional coordination. The Production Supervisor provides guidance, mentorship, and performance support to supervisors and indirectly to production staff, with a strong focus on cultivating talent and maintaining a culture of safety and engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport workforce planning and succession strategies to build a strong leadership pipeline.Provide coaching and performance feedback to enhance team capabilities.Promote a positive, inclusive work environment that reflects company values and encourages associate engagement.Lead efforts to maintain a proactive safety culture and ensure adherence to all safety, food safety, and environmental standards.Enforce safety procedures and maintain a secure work environment.Stay informed on regulatory updates and ensure team compliance.Ensure compliance with food safety protocols, including HACCP, GMPs, and sanitation standards.Establish and uphold quality benchmarks through SOPs and team training.Oversee quality assurance processes, including audits and corrective actions.Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and other relevant standards.Lead root cause investigations and implement solutions to minimize waste and risk.Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and throughput.QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of manufacturing experience and 2-4 years of supervisory experience.Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.Experience with lean manufacturing, ERP systems, and root cause analysis.Solid understanding of quality assurance and regulatory compliance.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
