Hiring a Construction EstimatorA leading site/civil construction firm is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates based on project plans and specificationsReview subcontractor/supplier quotes and develop pricing modelsPrepare and submit competitive bidsManage and price change ordersUse HCSS for estimating and cost managementCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholdersMonitor project budgets and provide cost-performance updatesRequirementsBachelor's in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field5+ years of estimating experience in site/civil constructionProficiency with HCSSStrong knowledge of bidding, pricing, and change order processesExcellent analytical, communication, and organizational skillsPreferred Experience* Heavy civil, site development, highways/roadways* Preconstruction, proposals, cost modeling, and RFIsJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Westchester, NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $88.00 - $90.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
