Job DescriptionJob DescriptionElectrical SuperintendentLocation: Tampa, FLCompensation: $33–$36 per hourEmployment Type: Full-TimeOverview:We are seeking an Electrical Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial and industrial power distribution projects in the Tampa area. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on electrical expertise, and experience managing medium and high voltage systems. We are open to experienced Superintendents as well as Foremen ready to step into a Superintendent role. Candidates must be able to work extended hours and meet high-security jobsite requirements.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily field operations and supervise electrical crews ranging from 2–12 personnelManage commercial and industrial electrical projects with a focus on power distribution systemsCoordinate with project managers, inspectors, general contractors, and other stakeholdersEnsure compliance with NEC, local codes, safety standards, and project specificationsPlan and schedule manpower, materials, and equipmentConduct jobsite meetings, safety briefings, and quality control inspectionsTroubleshoot and resolve electrical installation challengesReview drawings and specifications to ensure constructability and accuracyMaintain daily reports, progress tracking, and documentationEnsure project schedules and productivity goals are metQualifications:Experience with medium and high voltage electrical systems requiredCommercial and industrial electrical experience requiredPrevious Superintendent experience preferred; Foremen ready to advance will be consideredValid Florida electrical license requiredAbility to pass a background check due to high-security project requirementsStrong leadership and team management skillsAbility to read and interpret electrical plans and schematicsSafety-focused mindset with strong attention to quality and detailWork Schedule:45–60 hours per weekConsistent overtime availableBenefits:Hourly pay of $33–$36 per hourFull insurance coverage (employer-paid)Company truck providedFuel cardPaid Time Off: 8–12 days annuallyGenerous paid holiday schedule
