Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary:Gerelco is searching for an Electrical Superintendent that has experience with large commercial jobs.Since 1993, Gerelco Family of Companies has proudly provided services to the Florida market. Our experience has passed through 3 generations, since our start in Connecticut in 1955.We currently employ over 300 skilled field personnel throughout the state and have one of the most experienced management teams in South Florida. With the principles of our team having over 300 years of combined experience.Our mission is to provide our customers with quality service, from quality people, with dedication, knowledge, and safety.Essential FunctionsLeads and completes the project in accordance with supplied blueprints, diagrams and/or instructions provided and to quality standards in accordance to applicable local, state, and federal laws.Responsible to ensure that all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are safeguarded in a manner that prevents their unauthorized use or removal from the project site.Ensures team cooperation with other trades and or the General Contractor on the site.Ensures that materials and supplies on the project are stored in a neat and orderly fashion and that the job site is picked up before leaving each day.Provides instruction and guidance to reporting employees that enables them to work safely and efficiently.Participates in the hiring, termination, training, counseling, and coaching of all employees reporting to him/her.Required Education and ExperienceRequires a minimum of 7 years trade experience.Employee must have and maintain an OSHA 30 certification.Employee should have and maintain a Journeymans CardEmployee must have and maintain a clean, valid Florida Drivers license.Must have experience and be able to perform all of the duties required of the positions under them.Gerelco offers a generous compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, employee assistance program and more.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace.
