This position combines technical excellence with strategic leadership, offering significant growth potential and the chance to make a lasting impact on infrastructure that serves millions of Californians.Job Responsibilities:Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- to large-size projects.Develops technical client relationships and plays a role in selling.Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise.Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.Approves and signs off on work products.Leader in one or more areas of technology.Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on complex projects.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Active California PE License.Preferred Qualifications:15+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.Experience performing geotechnical engineering for Water/Wastewater and Conveyance projects.Plans, Specifications, and Estimates package creation.Project Management experience.Active California GE License or ability to obtain within 6 months.Additional InformationOffered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
