Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr About the Company Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has an immediate opening for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer in our San Jose, West Sacramento, or Alameda, CA office. About the Role The Principal Geotechnical Engineer will direct, review, and oversee small to large private and public projects. Responsibilities вәқәsen junior staff Maintain client relationships Assist in marketing/business development Provide ongoing training to engineering staff Provide direction and review of engineering work products Review and sign geotechnical proposals and reports Qualifications California GE license required; M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering preferred. Required Skills Licensed professional engineer in California with over 10 years of experience with a geotechnical consulting firm performing duties described above. Well-rounded background in geotechnical engineering. Strong work ethic. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. A track record of successful client relationships and service is required. A thorough understanding and knowledge of geotechnical engineering. Work experience with construction and earthwork activities. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, positive attitude, and excellent problem‑solving skills. Location San Jose, W. Sacramento, or Alameda, CA; minimum 4 days a week in the office.
