About the Organization:The Eau Claire Express begins its 21st year in the summer collegiate Northwoods League. The Northwoods League comprises teams of the top college players from across North America. Each team is operated similarly to a professional minor league team, providing development opportunities to players, front office staff members, interns, and coaches. In addition, the Express operates similarly to other Northwoods League teams, as their players use wooden bats, experience long road trips and overnight stays, and play nightly in front of thousands of fans. The Eau Claire Express plays at Carson Park, located in Eau Claire, WisconsinThe duties of the Graphic Design & Photography intern include any or all of the following:PhotographyDocument the season at Carson Park through high-quality photographyCapture player action shots, headshots, and team photosPhotograph stadium areas, including the Fan Deck, Grandstand, and General AdmissionHighlight fan interactions, staff, mascots, host families, and special eventsCover game day sponsorships, National Anthem performances, and other in-game featuresOrganize and maintain all photos in designated folders on an external hard drive for future useProof of PerformanceProvide photographic proof of all group outings and experiencesCapture sponsorship-related content, including signage, promotional games, and on-field recognitionsDocument first pitches, between-inning promotions, and other sponsor activationsGraphic DesignDesign engaging game day graphics for in-stadium and digital useCreate marketing materials such as posters, flyers, etc.Assist with the design of the team's game day program and other publicationsSupport the marketing team with additional graphics projects as assignedDigital Content & Social MediaAssist in growing Express social media accounts through creative contentBrainstorm and develop new ideas that can be utilized year-roundPost gameday and post-game graphics in collaboration with the marketing teamRun Instagram stories during each gameOther duties Help with stadium setup and takedown for all home gamesAssist the Express front office with ticket sales effortsProvide general office and administrative support as neededAssist with everyday office duties and other duties as assignedRequired Skills and Qualifications:Preferably pursuing a degree in photography, graphic design, or digital marketingStrong written and verbal communication skillsDeveloped interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressureSelf-motivated individual with the ability to multitaskExperience in Adobe Creative SuiteWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.Job Questions:Do you have experience in any of the Adobe Creative Suite programs?Please upload any graphic design work you would like to share with us:
