The Floor Technician performs routine floor care, scrubbing, extracting, refreshing, and buffing of floor services while maintaining cleanliness and standard safety protocols.Floor Technician Key Duties · Maintains all floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing though out the facility.. Properly and safely operate various pieces of equipment such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, steam machine.. Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated location after each use.· Perform other job-related duties as they become required. Floor Technician QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.1-2 years long-term care of healthcare experienced preferred.Must have verbal and written communication skills.
