This role involves programming, setup, and operation of CNC mills (Okuma preferred) to produce precision prototype parts.Responsibilities: Program and operate CNC mills using Surfcam or Mastercam (10+ yrs exp., including surfacing).Machine parts in stainless steel, steel, aluminum, and plastics.Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and GD&T drawings.Maintain tight tolerances (typically +/-.002").Perform complete setups and First Piece Inspections with minimal supervision.Work directly with engineers on design modifications and first articles.Qualifications: 10-15 years CNC machining experience; Okuma prototype experience preferred.Strong balance of programming, setup, and machining skills.High attention to detail, positive attitude, and flexibility to work overtime when needed.This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
