Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting tasks and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This role is critical to supporting the company's financial operations and maintaining up-to-date books.Key Responsibilities:Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)Process vendor payments, customer invoices, and collectionsReconcile bank and credit card statementsMaintain general ledger and prepare journal entriesAssist with month-end and year-end closingsCollaborate with external CPA for audits and tax filingsMonitor cash flow and report financial insights to leadershipQualifications:3+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experienceProficiency in QuickBooks is a plusStrong understanding of GAAP and bookkeeping best practicesExcellent attention to detail and time managementStrong Excel and data entry skillsPreferred:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldAscendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
