UNITED TRADES OF AMERICA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumbers/ Apprentice to join our team. As a Journeyman Plumber and Apprentice you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure plumbing systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards and regulations.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, installation techniques, and local codes and regulations. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.JOB Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (and surrounding areas) LOCALS ONLYPay Range: based upon experience, NO PER DIEMApproximate Hours working: 40-60 per weekResponsibilities:Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to plan and execute plumbing installations and repairs.Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, encompassing pipes, fixtures, valves, and fittings, adhering to local plumbing codes and regulations.Collaborate closely with project managers and construction teams to seamlessly integrate plumbing systems into overall building plans.Perform comprehensive inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues, diagnose problems, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.Install and maintain water supply lines, sewage systems, and drainage systems with precision and efficiency.Conduct thorough testing of plumbing systems to detect leaks and ensure optimal functionality, making adjustments as required.Coordinate efforts with other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to achieve harmonious project execution.Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns related to plumbing systems.Maintain accurate and organized records of work performed, materials utilized, and time expended on each project.Stay informed about the latest advancements in plumbing technology and techniques through continuous learning.How to Apply:If you are a skilled Journeyman or Apprentice Plumber with a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship, we want to hear from you Please apply on our website for immediate consideration atUnited Trades of America is an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.
