Direct Hire Opportunity - Plumbing ForemanJob Title: Plumbing ForemanLocation: Carmel, INEmployment Type: Full-Time, Non-ExemptPay Range: 33.00 - 44.00 per hourOn-Call: No on-callOvertime: As neededPosition SummarySuperior Skilled Trades is hiring a Plumbing Foreman to plan, coordinate, and supervise plumbing construction activities for commercial, industrial, and remodeling projects across the Indiana region. The Foreman provides hands-on leadership to plumbing crews, ensures quality workmanship, maintains project schedules, enforces safety standards, and ensures compliance with project specifications. This is a direct-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupervise, organize, and coordinate plumbing crews on assigned projectsAssign tasks based on employee skill level and trainingTrain, mentor, and evaluate apprentices and journeymenReview and interpret project specifications, contracts, drawings, and blueprintsAttend construction and coordination meetingsMonitor project progress and enforce schedulesConduct daily inspections to ensure safety and quality complianceCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and administratorsMonitor material, tool, and equipment usageIdentify and resolve job-related issuesEnforce company and OSHA safety standardsPerform additional duties as neededRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum 6 years commercial or industrial plumbing experienceMinimum 2 years lead, journeyman, or foreman experienceKnowledge of IPC, UPC, and Indiana/local plumbing codesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, specifications, and submittalsProficient in layout, material take-offs, and installation of plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary, vent, storm, natural gas, and hydronic systemsExperience with copper soldering and brazing, steel thread weld and groove, cast iron no-hub, PEX, and CPVCAbility to perform system commissioning and pressure testingStrong skills in planning, crew scheduling, and mentoringProven track record in safety, quality, and productivityProficiency with email, PDFs, and field applications such as Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Procore, or similarValid driver's license and insurable driving recordAbility to lift 50 pounds, work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditionsAbility to work overtime and weekends as neededMust pass a pre-employment background check and drug screenKey CompetenciesStrong knowledge of plumbing systems and construction methodsAbility to read and interpret construction documentsEffective team leadership and supervisory abilityStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsDependable and safety-focusedBenefitsCompany-paid benefits packageHealth Savings Account with company contribution and match401(k) with company matchPaid time offAnnual bonusHoliday bonusAnniversary bonus programPhone allowanceCompany truck or van depending on roleINDH
