We invest in our people, prioritize professional development, and foster a team-first environment that supports both growth and balance.Your Role at a GlanceAs a Senior Project Manager, you will:Lead cross-functional teams to deliver civil engineering projects on time and within budget.Own client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact.Drive business growth, helping to shape marketing strategy and bring in new projects.Uphold excellence, mentoring junior staff and enforcing quality standards.Manage performance across financial, technical, and personnel metrics.What You'll Be DoingProject Leadership & OversightManage multiple land development projects from concept to completion.Develop project budgets and schedules; ensure financial performance and client satisfaction.Oversee design reviews and quality assurance.Team Management & MentorshipLead, support, and develop a team of engineers and technicians.Assist in recruiting, training, and performance reviews.Client Engagement & Business DevelopmentServe as the face of FEI to clients - nurturing relationships and identifying new opportunities.Participate in strategic planning and marketing initiatives to grow our client base.Financial & Operational ManagementOversee work-in-progress and monthly billing cycles.Manage collections and contribute to forecasting and resource planning.We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).Experience: 10+ years in land development engineering, with at least 3 in a leadership or management role.Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina; valid NC driver's license.Tools: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite; Ajera experience is a plus.Ideal TraitsProven leader with a collaborative and motivational style.Strong business sense with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.Detail-oriented with exceptional communication and client service skills.Committed to mentorship, innovation, and continuous improvement.Work Environment & ScheduleLocation: High Point, NC - in-office presence required.Schedule:Mon-Thu: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PMFri: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AMOffice-based with occasional field/client visits.Why Join FEI?Leadership Opportunity: Directly shape the future of our team and projects.Community Impact: Help build the infrastructure that shapes communities across North Carolina.People-First Environment: We value integrity, transparency, and teamwork.Ready to bring your leadership to a company that values excellence and relationships?
