Project Engineer

Are you an experienced civil engineer looking for a dynamic role where no two days are the same? Christopher B. Burke Engineering, LLC. (Burke) is looking for a well-rounded Project Engineer to join our team in Northern Indiana. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a smaller office environment where your expertise will be valued across a wide range of civil engineering projects.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage diverse civil engineering projects from concept through construction
- Conduct and review municipal engineering plans and development proposals
- Collaborate with clients, municipalities, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Provide mentorship to junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team culture
- Adapt to a variety of tasks and project types in a fast-paced, flexible environment
- Supervise, review, and mentor staff members
- Other assignments as needed
- B.S. Civil Engineering with 5 years of experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana or ability to obtain in 3 months
- Broad experience across multiple civil disciplines (Construction, Water Resources, Traffic, Municipal, Infrastructure, etc.)
- Strong Communication and project management skills
- Working knowledge and experience with state and local regulations
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge and experience with CAD programs a plus, preferably (AutoCAD / Civil 3D)
