The courses will run from January 12. 2026, through May 01, 20265. Instruction will take place, in person, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with class times scheduled from 9:45 AM to 11:00 AM, 11:15 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:15 PM to 3:30 PM. Additional responsibilities include training, course preparation, grading, and student communication.In this first-year course, students apply critical reading, writing, and critical thinking skills to analyze and develop ideas in written and oral forms. Through interdisciplinary reading assignments, a series of papers, a research paper, and an oral presentation, students will evaluate and formulate their own arguments in response to ideas presented in class.Qualifications A minimum of a master's degree in English or a related field is required. Previous experience in teaching college-level English is preferred Familiarity with WebAssign is desirable. Experience with Canvas is preferred.
