We are seeking a Urologist for a 28-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers flexible 24-hour call coverage in 7-day stints, with dedicated OR blocks and clinic responsibilities. Ideal for experienced candidates comfortable with urological surgery and rapid response protocols. Job Details Location: Illinois Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 LOA: 28 days Provider Type Needed: Urologist Schedule: 24-hour call coverage from 7pm-7pm, 7-day stints (Monday pm to Monday pm), 2 weeks per month available, extremely flexible; 1-2 procedures on OR days, 2-3 OR days per week Responsibilities and Duties Provide 24-hour call coverage with a 15-minute response by phone and 60-minute response at bedside from hotel Deliver urological consultation and surgical care, including dedicated OR blocks and clinic visits Manage an average of 2-3 consults per day, including phone calls from the ER for potential office visits Perform 1-2 surgical procedures on OR days Participate in orientation as scheduled Additional Information Must hold active licensure in Illinois and Iowa Board certification in Urological Surgery required Prior experience with urology surgery essential Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
