Plc Technician

Job Title: PLC Technician Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the PLC Technician will be to perform maintenance, PLC and electrical troubleshooting to support various machinery and conveyors in the plant, as well as electrical troubleshooting, including lighting, throughout the facility. The role involves working with a variety of PLCs and the shift operates from 6 am to 6 pm on a rotating schedule (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off).ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC systems and electrical components.Support machinery and conveyors with electrical troubleshooting and repairs.Conduct preventive maintenance on hydraulic pumps, sensors, relay boxes, control panels, and drives.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including 3-phase motors and control panels.Ensure functionality of photoeyes, sensors, and relay logic systems.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshooting experience, preferably up to 240/480V.Experience in PLC and relay logic troubleshooting.Knowledge of industrial maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.Understanding of mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustrial Electrician experience with PLC is preferred.Maintenance Technicians with electrical troubleshooting experience are considered.5+ years of experience is targeted, but less may be considered on a case-by-case basis.Experience wiring 3-phase motors and understanding control panels.Why Work Here?Our company offers competitive benefits, paid time off, and savings contributions.
