Your role as an Appliance Repair Technician is highly valued within our company. We do everything we can to make sure you are given the tools and resources you need to satisfy our customers. We've been in business for over 30 years focusing primarily on Whirlpool brands as an authorized service company.Job Duties:• Diagnose and repair residential appliances including, but not limited to washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, freezers• Utilize laptop and phone to document and research information• Provide exceptional and timely customer serviceExperience required:• High school diploma or equivalent is required• Valid driver's license• 2 years' experience as an in-home service provider• Excellent customer service skills• Computer skills• Excellent communication skills• Mechanical and electrical knowledge• Must be able to lift 50-100+ pounds**Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checkBenefits:• Van, computer, cell phone, gas card and uniforms are provided.• Paid vacation, personal time and holidays.• Health insurance• Optional 401k program with employer contribution• Bonus plan for exceeding goals• On-going training• Territory is designed around your home address so you can start and end from your home if you are too far away from the office• Opportunities for advancement - Technician Leads, Prescreeners, SupervisorsAs an appliance repair technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.Are you prepared to start your journey toward becoming an appliance technician?If so, look through our open positions using the filters aboveThis business is independently owned and operated.
