Summary:Experienced CNC Machinist w/ Okuma OSP ControlsMedical / Dental / Eye are available day one.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications and machining parameters.Perform multiple set ups dailyCan work independentlyTrouble shootsInspect your own workCalculates requirements using basic mathProficient with mics and calipersEnsures the production plan is executed and metTrack all work in process within department, ensure all materials are identified and traceableHelp employees regarding machine setup, operation, malfunctions, etc.Identify and communicate production issues in a timely mannerAccomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to jobsCompetencies:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Strong attention to detail• Process Improvement• Excellent verbal communication skills• Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.• Dependability• Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.Education and/or Experience:• Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Reasoning Ability:• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
