Job Title: Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Join a dedicated team of General Medicine Providers as we make a significant impact in the lives of VeteransWe are currently seeking Nurse Practitioners to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in Houston, TX. This role offers the flexibility of working from a personal office within the area, catering to those with an interest in serving our nation's heroes.As part of a reputable government contractor, you'll play a vital role in the health assessments process while working with a supportive team committed to making a difference. Job Responsibilities: Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments. Perform primarily interview-based assessments along with physical evaluations (range of motion and muscle strength testing). Complete required diagnosis and documentation for submitted reports, including any addendums. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assessment protocols. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Adhere to quick credentialing and onboarding processes with minimal downtime. Qualifications: Proficient in METs testing, respiratory, and cardiovascular evaluation - REQUIRED Ability to work independently in a personal office setting - REQUIRED Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine - REQUIRED AANP certified - REQUIRED Active and unrestricted license in New York - REQUIRED License and Certification Requirements: Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York. AANP certification is mandatory.
