Perform preventive maintenance as directed.3. Assemble and/or repair racks. Assemble office furniture and cubicles.4. Operate snowplows, forklifts and lifts, as directed.5. Maintain production standards. Report any production, quality or safety problems to the supervisor immediately.6. Comply with company rules and regulations.7. Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.8. Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve operating efficiency of the department.9. Keep manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives.10. Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCETrade school plus 1-2 years' experience in general maintenance service and repairs or equivalent. Valid driver's license COMPETENCIESAbility to use hand and power tools, such as: Standard and metric wrenches and socketsScrewdriversElectric meterSawsDrillsElectric sander/grinderWelders Ability to operate snowplows Ability to operate forklifts and lifts Ability to operate company vehicles General carpentry/handyman Light plumbing Light electrical
