Residential HVAC Service/Install Technician

Description Position Summary: Schwickert's Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Our Residential HVAC Installers are hard-working, enjoy seeing a job from start to finish, and want to learn and grow in their career. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO A $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS Starting pay ranges from $25-$40+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Installation of heating, venting and air conditioning systems in residences and some light commercial establishments. Install and start up equipment according to manufacturer's specifications. Ensure new systems work efficiently. Communicates in a professional manner with customers, co-workers and subcontractors. Possesses EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification license (Core, Type I & Type II). Understands that safety is the #1 Priority, used personal protective equipment, documents site safety plans and understands electrical hazards and electrical safety. Opportunity for 40+ hours during the busy seasons. Additional duties. Qualifications: 1-3+ years of experience in an HVAC related field or construction field preferred but not required. Technical school degree desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to learn and take direction from Foreman. Must be EPA certified or willing to take the EPA exam within a month of starting date. NATE certification or similar qualifications are desired but not required. Knowledge of principles and methods involved in showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This product demonstration to customers and sales techniques. On the job training is provided. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
