Description Commercial HVAC-R Service Technician Successful candidates are eligible for up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus Position Summary:Schwickert’s Tecta America is looking for skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC-R Service Technicians to join our team. In this role, you’ll perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on commercial HVAC-R systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC-R systems.Perform start-up of installed systems.Conduct regular maintenance and preventative services.Ensure compliance with HVAC codes and company safety standards.Participate in on-call rotation as needed.Assist with other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Valid driver’s license required.Technical school degree preferred, but not required.3+ years of HVAC-R experience Required.EPA certification (or willingness to obtain within the first month).NATE certification, DDC/Pneumatic controls, boiler license, or refrigeration background a plus.Ability to work safely at heights and in varying temperatures.Capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing stairs and ladders, and performing physical tasks.Strong willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors. Pay Range: $30–$45+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
