Job Overview Home Appliance Technician Monday - Friday If you're a skilled problem-solver who thrives in a hands-on environment, this role is for you As a Home Appliance Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain washers, dryers, and air-vending machines at various customer locations within your designated area. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working independently and possess strong mechanical skills. Key Responsibilities: Service and Repair: Diagnose and fix issues with appliances such as washing machines, dryers, and air-vending machines. Perform repairs efficiently while adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols. Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance and preventative services to ensure appliances operate at peak performance, which includes cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts. Customer Service: Provide top-notch service by engaging with customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their concerns, and educating them on proper appliance care and maintenance. Documentation: Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs conducted, parts utilized, and prepare thorough service reports. Parts and Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels for spare parts and tools, ensuring that necessary resources are readily available for repairs. Safety Compliance: Maintain adherence to safety guidelines and protocols to protect yourself and customers during service calls. What We're Looking For: Valid driver's license. Ability to pass pre-employment screening. Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge. Previous experience in appliance repair is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Capable of working independently with efficient time management skills. Physical stamina to lift appliances up to 75 pounds and adaptability to various environmental conditions. Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
