Job Title: Commercial Real Estate and Finance AttorneyLocation: New YorkExperience Level: 2 to 6 YearsPosition Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Real Estate and Finance Attorney to join our growing and vibrant practice group. Our team is widely recognized for its expertise in a variety of areas including real estate development, real estate leasing, land use, economic development, public-private partnerships, and the representation of both lenders and borrowers in a diverse range of commercial lending and finance transactions. This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated attorneys seeking to further their careers in a collaborative and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities: Manage a variety of commercial real estate transactions including commercial leasing, purchasing and sale transactions, and large-scale property review due diligence projects. Represent and advise clients, including borrowers and lenders, in complex middle-market commercial lending transactions. Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of transactional documents related to real estate and finance matters. Conduct comprehensive title examinations and survey analyses to identify potential issues or risks associated with real estate properties. Perform detailed due diligence, ensuring all legal, financial, and regulatory aspects are thoroughly vetted and compliant with applicable laws. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate and finance transactions. Strong academic credentials and a solid understanding of real estate law and finance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
