About the job TIG WelderTIG WELDER WITH MANUEL LATHE - $24 -291st Shift - 7:00am - 5:00pm (10hr shift) some weekendsSupport a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possibleMust have extensive knowledge of Tig/ Staineless Mig and Stick welding operationsMust have the ability to short arc, spray arc, and use a torch proficientlyThe ability to set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment such as electric arc welders, and gas weldersThe ability to read and independently work from plans, sketches, diagrams, and blueprintsKnowledge of occupational; hazards and safety precautions applicable to the welding tradeSupport Manufacturing Engineering on improvement projectsSupport the efforts of Lean and Continuous Improvement teamsAdhere to company policies, procedures, and rules.Create and maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet plant requirementExpectations:3 Years minimum work experienceSuccessfully Pass a weld testRead and follow blueprintsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Stainless Steel: 1 year (Preferred)Flux welding: 1 year (Preferred)TIG welding: 1 year (Preferred)
