About the Role:The Spa Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional and seamless experience for all spa guests by proving welcoming environment for our guests. This position involves supporting spa operations through attentive guest service by welcoming the Spa guests and ensuring a smooth check in process. The Spa Attendant is responsible for anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests, thereby enhancing overall customer satisfaction. This role requires physical demands to perform tasks such standing and walking while on shift, all while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. Ultimately, the Spa Attendant contributes significantly to the spa's reputation by fostering a relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere for every visitor.Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a spa or wellness environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Physical capability to lift and carry heavy items, perform repetitive motions, and stand for extended periods. Computer literacy to operate scheduling and communication software. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in spa services or hospitality management. Experience with specific spa software or booking systems. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to spa operations. Strong interpersonal skills with a background in conflict resolution or problem-solving. Multilingual abilities to better serve a diverse clientele. Responsibilities: Greet and assist guests upon arrival and throughout their visit, ensuring a warm and professional interaction. Prepare treatment rooms by cleaning, restocking supplies, and setting up equipment according to spa standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of spa facilities, including locker rooms, relaxation areas, and treatment spaces. Assist guests with the use of spa amenities and provide information about services and products as needed. Operate computer applications to schedule appointments, update guest records, and communicate with spa staff. Monitor guest flow and coordinate with therapists and other team members to optimize service delivery. Perform repetitive motions and stand for long periods while maintaining focus on guest comfort and safety. Climb stairs and move throughout the facility to support various operational needs efficiently. Skills:The required skills are essential for delivering outstanding guest service and maintaining operational efficiency. Working a flexible schedule allows the Spa Attendant to meet the dynamic needs of the spa environment, ensuring availability during peak times. Interpersonal and problem-solving skills enable the attendant to address guest concerns promptly and create a positive experience. Physical skills such as lifting heavy weights, performing repetitive motions, standing for long periods, and climbing stairs are necessary to manage the physical demands of the role effectively. Proficiency with computer applications supports scheduling, communication, and record-keeping tasks, allowing the Spa Attendant to contribute to smooth daily operations.
