The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJ Master Electrician License, have at least 5-10 years of field experience, and possess a strong understanding of the New Jersey Electrical Code. The instructor will work with adult learners to deliver hands-on training, share real-world expertise, and support student success in the electrical trade.Qualifications NJ Master Electrician License (required) 5-10 years of professional experience in the electrical field In-depth knowledge of NJ Electrical Code (preferred) Ability to effectively communicate and teach adult learners Strong oral and written communication skills Salary & Schedule $39.15/hour (Competitive hourly rate) Part-time position Additional Information Must pass a criminal history background check Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire EEO/AA EmployerBCIT prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, citizenship, age, sex (including pregnancy), disability, genetic information, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local law.
